Oil Storage Tank Overfill and Bund Alarms
Please see below the various options and configurations on our oil storage tank alarms. They include options such as battery or mains versions, oil tank overfill alarm or oil tank bund alarm, and combined bund and overfill alarms. Each alarm comes complete with the alarm unit and the probes that fit into the tank. All of our alarms are made in the UK and come complete with full, easy to understand installation instructions.
The Overfill Alarm.
Battery or mains powered versions available
Simple operating principle; A floating switch is suspended inside the top of the tank, this is factory attached to the alarm with a cable of 2m in length. Once the level in the tank reaches the switch and causes it to float, an alarm will sound. The alarm is silenced with a “reset” button, this will prevent the alarm from sounding again until the fluid level has dropped, deactivating the floating switch.
The Bund Alarm.
Battery or mains powered versions available
Simple operating principle; A float switch is suspended inside the bund. This is factory attached to the alarm with a cable of 2m in length. In the event of the bund starting to fill with fluid, when the float is raised by the fluid this will cause an audible alarm to sound. The alarm can be silenced whilst the offending rise in liquid is being investigated and corrected.
We also supply a combined bund and overfill alarm as above in either mains powered or 9v battery powered
